Each year, hundreds of Pokemon trainers injure themselves in the caves and on the slopes of Mt. Moon.
Far from roads and ground transport, these casualties are often rescued by the Mt. Moon Search and Rescue Group, based in the nearby town of Pewter City.
Mt. Moon SAR routinely utilize Rock-type Pokèmon to navigate the treacherous terrain and effectively clear boulders and other debris.
